Privacy policy

Effective 12 July 2026 · Popcorn Grove Pty Ltd · Australia

Blockfall is a free, ad-supported puzzle game made by Popcorn Grove, an Australian developer. This policy explains what data is processed when you play, who processes it, and the choices you have. The short version: we don't ask for your name, email, or any account — the only data involved is what our advertising and analytics partners collect to show ads and help us understand crashes and gameplay.

1. Data we collect ourselves

None. Blockfall has no account system, no registration, no chat, and no forms. Your scores and settings are stored only on your device. We do not operate our own servers for the game, and we never receive your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location.

2. Data collected by our partners (SDKs inside the app)

To show ads and keep the game stable we embed software from the partners listed in section 3. They may collect:

This data may be linked to your device's advertising identifier. We do not receive any of it in identifiable form — we only see aggregated reports.

3. Who the partners are

Each partner processes data under its own privacy policy as an independent controller or our processor, and may transfer data internationally under appropriate safeguards.

4. Your choices and consent

5. Children

Blockfall is not directed at children. We flag the app as "not child-directed" to all advertising partners, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). If you believe a child has provided personal data through an ad interaction, contact us and we will work with our partners to delete it.

6. Data retention

We hold no player data ourselves. Our partners retain the data described above for the periods set out in their own policies, typically bounded and aggregated over time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data — including under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the EU and UK GDPR, the Swiss FADP, and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. Because the data is held by our partners, the fastest route is often their own privacy portals (linked above), but you can always contact us and we will help direct or forward your request. You also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator (in Australia, the OAIC).

8. Changes to this policy

If we change what data is processed — for example by adding a new ad network or an optional account feature — we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
